Psychotherapy

Seeking therapy is a brave move, and I'd be honored to support you. I provide individual and relational therapy (families, couples, etc.) attuned to your unique needs. Request a free consultation to see if we’d be a good fit.

Unfortunately, I do not offer emergency services. If you need help right now, please check this list of options for support or call 911.

  • I help people seeking:

    • Supportive space to explore your identities

    • Supportive space to explore gender-affirming care options

    • Better relationships with loved ones

    • Help with parenting or co-parenting

    • Help managing the stress of leadership, and social & climate justice work

    • Healing from intergenerational trauma

    • Finding and holding onto hope

…as well as other challenges that life brings. I specialize in therapy to improve relationships, both with others as well as with ourselves. Together, we’ll get clear on the change you’re hoping for and the steps we need to take in order to get there.

  • Relational therapy, sometimes called family therapy or couple's therapy, is therapy with more than one person, where the relationship is what we're working on. It's designed to help us navigate relationships so that they can become more deeply connected & authentic, or clarify what changes need to be made in order for everyone to feel better. Belonging and connection are a human need, and I'm honored to support others in crafting more satisfying relationships.

For questions about therapy, check out the Frequently Asked Questions page.

  • Young people are our future and deserve the tools to face the planet they'll inherit. We can work together on exploring who you are, what interests you, and skills to help you feel better. For questions about confidentiality, pricing, and consent visit the FAQ page.

  • In order to access gender affirming care like hormones or surgeries, many providers require support letters from a mental health professional. I offer these letters at no cost as part of the Gender Affirming Letter Access Project. If you're an existing client seeking a letter, simply bring it up at our next session. For others, please book an appointment.

  • All therapy sessions are 50-60 minutes and cost $235 with a solidarity scale available from $100-$300. For more information about fees, check out the Frequently Asked Questions.

For Mental Health Clinicians

As clinicians, we’ve all been there— you have compassion for your clients, but are unsure of your next supportive step. Maybe they’re locked in a cycle you can’t seem to disrupt. Maybe there’s a new understanding of gender or sexuality emerging and it’s unfamiliar to you. It’s a lot to hold, or maybe you’re feeling stuck. I offer clinical consultation as well as ongoing supervision to help you think it all through.

  • Are you interested in a fresh perspective to help you conceptualize a challenging case? Maybe you've been working with a client for a while on other things, and now they're exploring gender affirming care, or you're curious about what to do with heavy transference & countertransference.

I tune in to what often goes unsaid in relationships: power dynamics related to gender, race, & sexuality; stories we’ve been told about how we’re supposed to be; and deep wounds throughout our family trees.

  • Part of my purpose is to help expand the capacity of mental health providers to meet the needs of communities impacted by injustice-- especially QTBIPOC folks. I offer supervision that empowers you to find your therapeutic style, recognize choice points, and make therapist moves from a grounded place of integrity. I’m interested in the intersection between evidence-based practices and the art of therapy.

Teaching & Training

For Organizations

  • Social & environmental justice movements often hire within communities directly impacted by these intersecting injustices. It means that the work is deeply personal, lifelong, and hard.

That's why it's important that our workplaces model themselves after the justice we seek. I have more than a decade of experience in both leadership and direct service. Let me help you think through systems and policies that allow everyone to thrive.
